Crystal eye web camera software

You need to redownload the drivers for your crystal eye web cam. Go to this link: http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers

When you get there, select "Notebook"...then select "Aspire". Then scroll down and select Aspire 5745. Then where you see "Operating System", select your operating system (ex: XP, Vista, or Windows 7). It will then show all the drivers for your operating system...scroll down until you see the camera driver software and then download and reinstall it. Hopefully this will help...good luck.

Good day to you. In regards to your issue usually Acer Laptop users are facing problem with the Webcam Driver while migrating to Windows 7. While other devices work with the Windows 7 inbuilt drivers, the Acer Crystal Eye Web cam device needs an explicit Driver.

You can install this one to make your crystall eye webcam to work. This version works well with windows 7

I'm going to assume that you transposed the 3 & 5 in your model number.. the 3515 does not exist in any acer database...
So, under the assumption that you are looking for the Crystal Eye webcam driver for your aspire 5315, here's the download link from the Acer site:

Suyin is the maker of the Crystal Eye webcam... and that should work with/for windows 7.
