Hello, Tammy, according to your explanation it looks like your device started problem after one week of charging error, if charging pin is same of your device and your brother there is no problem charging with it, for the charging error it must be happened when you didn't connect charger properly. try your device with another battery if possible, for the switching on and off it sounds me software issue, try to connect your device to pc suite and update firmware your problem will be solved. for further help post comments.
The message you are receiving 'Insert SIM' is due to the SIM card not being registered. (ie., it was registered at one time but is not now.) As such, it cannot receive network information. And, your phone sees this SIM as nothing more than a piece of paper stuck in the SIM card slot.
A single SIM card is not used to activate - and then reactivate - an account. To get service on the phone, a new SIM card will need to be purchased.
If you're in doubt as to whether your phone will recognize a SIM, take your phone to one of your cellular provider's stores and let them test it.
Try doing a master reset first on your phone, it could be that the settings for sending messages is different from your previous sim card....
Check for message settings... and look for an SMS center number... once you found that option on your phone, contact your service provider for the correct SMS center number.. =)
yes there is one way to fix this it would however involve taking it to a repair centre and will probably cost you about £40.00 as it sounds like the charger port has become disconnected and requires a new port and the sim holder has become loosened so therefore needs replacing.
1. Is there a SIM card in the phone? Is the SIM card from the same carrier/provider you got the phone from? Was the phone purchased as part of a plan or separately?
2. I see the not charging message a lot with my v551 that I had. I usually adjusted the inserted connector (after insertion) and 85% of the time, the phone recognized the power coming through.
If this fails, then try another power adapter. If after trying a new power adapter does not work, then the pins on the phone has sustained some damage.
Hope this helps :) Kindly leave a rating. Thanks..
it could be built in condensation or something, try to actually, remove the battery sim card and put the phone inside a sealed bag or jar of whole grain white rice. the rice wil actually absord any left over moisture in the case of the phone. before you try to use it make sure you have no left over rice in it tho. This really works!
