Hi there,

Although your description is a bit vague, there are standard causes for low pressure that can be addressed.

The first is air in the line. Turn on the hose feeding the unit before attaching it. This will get any air in the hose out.

The pressure at which the water is delivered to the target is controlled by the nozzle. The narrower the pattern, the higher the pressure.

Also note that the detergent siphon normally works with only the lowest pressure nozzle (usually the black one).

As far as what the 'correct pressure' you are speaking of is, you would have to elaborate a bit more.

Can I USE SAE 30 NON DETERGENT OIL IN MY HUSKY 2600 PSI PREASURE WASHER.

Gasoline-powered pressure washers use an SAE 30W motor oil (10W-30) in the engine. Always consult the engine manual for specific instructions and be careful to put the correct oil in the correct place.

Started by Craftsman 2700 PSI , 2.3 GPM Briggs & Stratton Powered Pressure Washer for first time in 9 months. Added new oil, and gas. started but is smoking from muffler and is dripping what appears to...

The first thing I would check would be the oil level, to make sure you didn't put in too much oil. If the oil level is correct, it could be a stuck piston ring, letting oil blow by the piston, and out the exhaust. If this is the case, you are going to have to tear down the engine.

Hope this helps!

Dont get correct pressure. What type of oil do i

A loss of pressure on this type of washer is normally caused by failing water seals and check valves in the pump. You will need to replace both of these using a pump rebuild kit that will be available by contacting the manufacturer of your machine. The pump oil used will be 30W non-detergent.

I have a k7.91 pressure washer the motor runs but stops or pulses

This sounds like a problem with the pressure sensor which is located on the water inlet side of the pump. This switches the power to the motor when there is sufficient inlet pressure and water flow. This pressure switch can get partially siezed up, and not operate correctly.

You will need to dismatle the unit and identify the pressure switch, dismantle it and lubricate it with silicone grease.

I think my son put the wrong gas into my power washer what do i do now -- it coughed, knocked and emitted a burning smell, it was diesel, i think

Hello:
I would drain all the gas possible. Take out the spark plug(s). Spray some carb cleaner into the head. Spray some into the carb. Let it sit 10 minutes. Put the correct gas in. Replace plugs and try running it

Karcher Power Washer that surges up and down with water pressure.

Before you start it up:
1. Disconnect the high pressure hose 2. Connect the water supply and turn on 3. Make sure water is flowing through the pump
Start the motor, run for about 10 seconds and then turn off.
Turn off the water supply, connect the high pressure hose, turn water back on, start the motor and away you go.
