Rotate screen back to normal

Computer users occasionally have a need to rotate, or "flip," a monitor display to be better able to read long documents or to view pictures. Because rotating a computer screen is such a basic function, modern operating systems (Windows XP and up) include hot keys and display options that enable the user to rotate the computer screen by 90, 180 and 270 degrees. Rotating the computer screen allows for more display options. For instance, when rotated 90 degrees, a 1680x1050 monitor becomes a 1050x1680 monitor, which provides more vertical pixels than a standard display.

Windows XP/Vista Monitor Orientation
Minimize any windows or programs to the taskbar. Click the desktop. Press "CTRL" + "ALT" at the same time. Press one of the arrow keys to flip the monitor orientation by 90, 180 or 270 degrees. The left arrow rotates the computer screen 90 degrees; the down arrow rotates the computer screen 180 degrees; the right arrow rotates the computer screen 270 degrees; the up arrow resets the monitor orientation. Rotate the computer screen in Windows Vista by opening the Control Panel, searching for "Tablet PC" and changing the "Orientation" drop box to the desired rotation. b> Windows 7 Monitor Orientation b> Click the Start menu at the lower-left hand part of the screen, and open the Control Panel. Select "Display," then click "Change display settings" from the left column. When using multiple monitors, select the monitor that you would like to rotate. Click the drop box next to the "Orientation:" option. Select the desired rotation and click "Apply." Click "Keep Changes" or "Revert," depending on preference. Click "Apply" in the Display Settings window. Click "OK" to finish.

HP Pavilion tx2000 monitor not display, all the light on execpt the monitor blank

Sounds like your display has completely gone out. If your device is under warranty, you should try to contact HP as soon as possible and request that your device be repaired.
You could try swiveling the display around or tilting the laptop at unusual angles--if there's a loose wire or connection, the display might flicker on.

Can I change the angle of my viewsonic screen

Here is what you can do ergonomically;

Height adjustment range 8.1cm / 3.2", tilt, swivel range 360º
So, yes you can tilt the monitor's angle, but if you are asking about the viewing angles then no you cannot.

Hp monitor

> how do I fix ?

Keep any "pranksters" away from your computer. :-)

The software for your video-card has an option to "rotate" the displayed image, either 90 or 180 or 270 degrees. Some "prankster" has set your video-card to the '180 degrees' setting. Change it back, or turn your monitor upside down. :-)

SCREEN TILT

Is the mounting piece at the bottom of the lcd fixed or not, see if it is placed the right way and inserted the right way, if it is, look on either side where the swivel mounting is, does it move, and if so apply a bit of pressure to move that unit. If not apply 3 in 1 oil to the "hinges" to lubricate it a bit.

Our viewsonic monitor tilts forward. how do we tilt it back?

Hello again.
The ViewSonic VG1930wm has a height adjustment range of 3.2", TILT capabilities, and a swivel range of 360 degrees.
So yes your monitor should be able to tilt back and forth.  Most likely if you hold the base of the monitor, and press somewhere on the front at the top or bottom (do not press on the screen itself) then it should easily tilt back and forth.  Occassionally there is a switch you may have to hold while you push on the front-top/bottom of the monitor which acts as a lock for the tilt angle.
Hope that helps, and don't forget to vote/rate!

Acer x193hq monitor

tilt phisically? It depends on the support stand it comes with.
If you mean rotating it, it is not possible with the included stand.
You may rotate the image on it by pressing the right side Alt key and the arrows at the same time. Depending what arrow you press with the Alt key the image can rotate to the left or right.
