If your pool has the skimmer system there is a hose coming from the bottom of the skimmer to the wall of the pool which would be your suction to the pump. Disconnect the hose clamp from the suction port that goes through the wall of the pool remove the hose then unscrew the blue adapter on the inside of the pool there you will find a strainer / screen. Whatever gets pass the basket in the skimmer get's plugged up in that screen causing the pump to starve for water causing the LOW FLOW sensor to go off on the Saltwater pump.
Let me know if this helps any.
well im having kind of the same problem but its a 12 foot framed pool and no skimmer just bought a bigger used pump but need an addapter due to hose being threaded is there an addapter that goes frome threaded to a hose clamp of some sort. thanks
Hi, is there any chance someone can post photos of which parts to disconnect and which parts are to clean. Just to help me visualise and make it easier for me to sort it out. We always get code 90 error, especially when we use the vacuum. Thanks.

I have the 15' pool and have been operating the system for several weeks without issue. When low flow comes on, it is usually the filter is needing replacement.
However, now I have low flow and filter is NOT dirty. I removed and cleaned flow sensor according to book (it was NOT dirty either). Problem continues. The flow feels fine when you put your hand to the outlet. I finally removed the cylindrical filter from the pump and am running without filter just to keep pool chlorinated and copper ions until I can contact Intex.
But check your filter, wash out the pipeline, etc. first.
I had the same problem. I cleaned and then changed the filter, cleaned the sensor, everything the book said. It ended up that there were leaves and stuff clogging the strainer right as the water leaves the pool and goes into the hose on the way to the filter. Check there.
I have a model 8110 that I have been using for about 4 years. I have had Code 90 come up several times. Usually it requires back flushing the sand filter and making sure the skimmer basket is clean. I have also found the screen on the inlet at the pump plugged with debris causing low water flow. You have to take the hose off at the pump itself to check the inlet screen. This year I had a low water flow alarm that didn't go away by making sure there was no restriction in the lines. The flow sensor was clean looking when I visually inspected it, but when I pulled the flow sensor off the plug, both prongs came out of the sensor. The prongs had corroded to the point of breaking off and were stuck in the plug. I pulled the prongs out of the plug and pushed them down into the sensor and re-installed the plug onto the sensor. This seems to be working so far but I think I had better get a new flow sensor ordered.
This has been a great product and has made pool maintenance so much easier and cheaper.
TxGreg... I am running into the same problem. i have a 15x48 pool and saltwater system. i finally did the same as you and removed the filter and it's running fine. Please post any solutions Intex gives you. Thanks
