Intex '10 Saltwater System Pool Chlorinator Filter Pump Questions & Answers
My system is reading high salt what should i do?
I suggest you test the salt concentration. If you don't have a way to test it then you can bring a sample in a small jar with a tight lid to a pool supply store and most will test it for free. I hope this helps.

Low flow keeps alarming
the manual doesn't tell u but the obvious solution is debris trapped in the filter that water flows from the pool to the pump. The one screwed into the pool liner. Unscrew the Blue cover , the one on the inside of the pool, and u will be surprised how much junk gets trapped in there, clean it out once and week and after vacuuming the pool

Pump stops and service light comes on about 1
All that you need to do is first remove 4 screws and liftthe electronic cove off to the right side. In the left rear will be the pumprelay circuit board, this board carries high and low voltage. The black minipump relay is controlled by low voltage and switches high voltage to run thepump and the high voltage pump wire is a white wire plugged onto the relayboard. Obtain a duel spade push on adapter that will allow 2 wires to beplugged onto 1 spade. With the power off, unplug the white pump wire from therelay, just to the left on this board is primary high voltage, 2 white, 2 blackand several green grounds. Remove 1 of the white power wires and push on thenew duel spade connector, then plug both white wires back onto this connector.Plug in or power up the system to verify the pump runs, and re-secure thecover.
This modification will allow the pump to run independently from thechlorination time cycle and only stop when you shut down the system when youare through using the pool each day. It made no sense for Intex to turn thepump off after the chlorination cycle stopped. This would cause extraprogramming to run the pump only each day. Intex's Support states that a poolsfilter pump should run each day for extended period of time for the best waterquality. This allows for noreprogramming for pump run only each day.
Hope this will help you.

Power cord was ran over by lawn mower and cut into
Is this 110 volt or 220 volt?
110 = white wire goes to the neutral side of the circuit ... or the silver color screw on the plug. The black wire goes to the brass color screw ... or the "hot" side of the plug. The green wire goes to the green screw.
220 = youwill find on the 220 20 amp plug there are two brass colored screws + a green screw for the ground.

How to clean a salt water system
I think this is metal scale. If you dont have your manual, consider asking your dealer for advice. If there is no dealer in your area, consider a mild acid wash.

Power shuts down
Sounds like a power supply issue.
If you call intex and tell they you have a power supply problem and a reciept within two years. they should ship you a new one.
