I have recieve a message stating error 25004.config.xml not specified. I just purchase last night ultimate steal pay for it and now i can't open it

After that, try installing Office again.

If the version of windows installed on your computer is not activated you would face issues to use any applications once the product is expired.

But if you have an issue with office programs with an error 25004 on an activated version of windows
Then the reason might be corrupted installation of office 2007 on the computer.
Uninstall office 2007 manually from the computer then
re-install it and check if it helps.

Uninstall Office 2007, and reinstall it again.

If you can't uninstall Office 2007, go download a small utility "Remove Office 2007" @ http://www.refusetosuffer.com/software.php?SoftwareID=4 to remove the program.

This might probably due to "registry corruption" caused by some "security programs' eg. Antivirus or Internet Security or software you install or updated.

you can run microsoft installer clean up utility
uninstall office completely, restart
then re-install the office

Try YourUninstaller 2008, 1-Click Cleaner (Your uninstaller 2008) or TuneUp Utilities 2008/2009.

Try to delete every part of the office from your PC. Files in Document and Settings/User

Dig a little bit in your PC. In Windows folder, Program Files, Doc & Settings.....


That should be a sollution for your problem.
