Need to fix office 2007 from compatability

Windows 7 Office 2007 Minimum Requirements b> Microsoft Office 2007 isn't the latest version of the Office suite, but it is still useful for a variety of tasks. The software package includes programs for editing spreadsheets, working with documents, creating presentations and more. Office 2007 also includes a redesigned user interface that is more intuitive than previous versions. Chances are good your computer can run Office 2007 if you already have Windows 7 installed, but you should check the system requirements anyway to ensure a trouble-free installation.

Processor and Memory Your computer needs a 500MHz or faster processor plus at the very least 256MB RAM. You may need more memory if you wish to run multiple Office applications simultaneously. The Business Contact Manager in some versions of Office requires a 1GHz processor and 512MB RAM. Turning on the grammar checker in Word requires 1 GB of RAM. Hard Drive and Optical Drive b> Make sure you have at least 1.5GB of available space on your hard disk to install Office 2007 standard and 2GB for other versions. You also need a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive for installation. Monitor b> Your display should have a 1024x768 resolution or higher. Older 800x600-resolution monitors are not compatible with Office 2007. 64-bit Compatibility and Windows Updates b> Note that you may run the 32-bit version of Office 2007 on 64-bit versions of Windows 7, but you cannot run Office 2007 64-bit on 32-bit editions of Windows 7. Make sure your copy of Windows 7 is up-to-date for best results. Microsoft releases fixes and other updates periodically that address stability issues and other known bugs. You can use Windows Update, on your "Start" menu, to check for updates.

I have xp i have 512 MB RAM and P3 processer but i cant not install ms office 2007

In order to install any software, it is imperative to ensure that the computer in question meets or exceeds the minimum requirements.

Foremost, Microsoft Office Basic/Standard/Home & Student/Professional/Small Business/Professional Plus/Enterprise 2007 require a CD-ROM or DVD drive. Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 requires a DVD drive.

Microsoft Office Basic/Standard/Home & Student/Professional/Small Business/Professional Plus/Enterprise/Ultimate 2007 requires a system that has at least 500 MHz (since a Pentium III can range in speed from 450 MHz to 1.4GHz, it seems likely that you've met this specification); & at least 256 MB of RAM (your system's 512 MB meets this & is the minimum amount recommended for Outlook Instant Search).

However, you did not make mention of which service pack (1, 2, or 3) that is installed on your version of MS Windows XP (MS Office Basic/Standard/Home & Student/Professional/Small Business/Professional Plus/Enterprise/Ultimate 2007 requires at least SP2); nor did you mention how much free disk space is on your system. MS Office Basic/Standard/Home & Student 2007 requires at least 1.5 GB (MS Office Professional/Small Business/Professional Plus/Enterprise 2007 requires at least 2 GB of free disk space & MS Office Ultimate 2007 requires at least 3 GB of free disk space. Also, MS Office Basic/Standard/Home & Student/Professional/Small Business/Professional Plus/Enterprise 2007 requires an Internet browser comparable to at least Internet Explorer 6 (IE6).

By the way, OneNote Instant Search & OneNote Audio Search require a CPU of at least 2 GHz & at least 1 GB of RAM. 1 GB of RAM is also the minimum requirement for grammar & contextual spelling in Word. Business Contact Manager requires a CPU of at least 1 GHz & at least 512 MB of RAM. Since you did not mention your exact iteration of MS Win XP (Home/Professional/Professional 64-Bit), it is important to note that "Send to OneNote 2007" print driver, Internet Fax, & Groove Folder Synchronization are not available on 64-bit operating systems.

Furthermore, I do not find it reasonable to quote any more specifications such as those for MS Office Accounting products unless found necessary, besides such specs are readily available at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/2007-microsoft-office-release-system-requirements-HA010166865.aspx?CTT=1.

It is entirely possible that the cause of installation failure could be a faulty optical disk drive (CD/DVD/etc.) an invalid product key or perhaps an operating system (OS) which the installation deems to not be genuine.

No Has Been Able To Solve This Office 2007 Pro Problem, Can You?

Hi,
The problem is the feature you tried istalling might have corrupted the OS. What you can try doing is create new user account first , restart your computer into the new user computer and then try installing. If the same still doesnot work , then my friend the only solution would be to reinstall windows xp and then put office 2007.

Thanks

Office 2007 Install Problems

It can be very aggravating to reinstall Office; you probably need to use the free removal tool that Microsoft provides for situations like yours. It may have nothing to do with Office 2007 and everything to do with whatever else you added via Add/Remove Programs. My best advice is patience; Office12 is huge, and takes a long time to put all its junk in there; Microsoft will walk you through it if you have patience with their tech support folks and time to wait on hold to reach someone. The good news is they get paid to sit with frustrated folks like you. If you can be more sprcific what the error message(s) say(s) that will help whomever could help you get to the root cause of your issue(s).

HOW TO INSTALL OFFICE 2007 ON WINDOWS 2000

Your solution makes no sense.
XP and 2000 are practically the same. The only reason Office 2007 doesn't work on XP is because someone at Microsoft has thought
"If we place some code in Office 2007 to prevent it running in Windows 2000, maybe people will buy XP or Vista to use it. Then we can make more money!"
That is the same with every Microsoft program that works on XP but not 2000.
It is a marketing ploy.
Someone help us find a way to get past this dirty profiteering trick.
