I need a driver for Canon imageCLASS MF3240. I am able to find any and all Canon printer driver except for this one I need. The printer/fax/scanner/copier is still sold by Canon. Can you help? Thank you! Julie

you may be able to print from the printer a settings summary which may show the language the printer is expecting ./
there may be a way for a windows driver to work in ubuntu it is done by either finding a ubuntu driver for the printer (which seems really hard to find) or mucking around using ndiswrapper utility to try and manipulate a driver to work in ubuntu.

You can install the printer to the other computer by downloading the printer software from this link, just select the operating system that your computer is using.
uninstall the printer and all of software. then down load the drivers and software and save them to your desktop. then disconnect your pc from the internet, disable your anti virus and fire wall, then run the install from your desk top. alot of anti virus software see's scanner drivers as virus like activity and will not allow them to be installed. all in one installs like this need to be done without anti virus software running. i think this will solve you problem ive solve it many times like this
