my bd-p1000 wont play blue ray dvds just regular dvds
I also insert blu-ray disks and after a long time the disc get spat back at me. Normal DVDs work fine. ?????? Help Please
It still plays regular dvd's but just hates all blue rays.
I downloaded the firmware update and it still doesn't play the blu-ray
My blu-ray will not play.I have rented 4 Blu-Ray new releases from blockbuster and none of them will play.
Same problem as described - although the problem is more intermittent. It is getting worse however. Kicks back blu-ray discs 3-4 times before they will play. Regular Dvds play fine.
I have the same problem, it started doing with slowly and started increasing in freequency and now it wont play a Bluray disk at all. But it Still plays regular DVD's. The kicker about this is the fact that it started 2 months after I got the thing and paid 1200.00 for it. The firmware update did not work either Samsung. So much for being an Earlier adopter.
stupid piece of junk man I am so sick of mine doing the same thing I won't evn rent blu ray's anymore
plays standard discs just not blu ray i have tried new firmware but no luck i guess samsung are still the same cheap and nasty compant they have always been
Same issue here. Started out fine. 3 - 6 months later had occasional issues - needed to put the disc in and out a few times on newer discs. Then the first VC-1 discs came out and would not play. After the firmware update things worked for a while, then went downhill fast. Within 6 months of the update no Blu-ray titles would play in the unit (standard DVDs work fine). I bought a PS3. Works great. I got to watch only 15 or 20 movies on the Samsung. At $1000 purchase price, that's $50/movie. Ouch.
Regular DVDS work fine. Blu-Rays will not read. I have done the 4/17/2009 firmware upgrade but there was no change.
Mine works worse with the firmware update.
will not play blue ray discs and plays standard just fine.
some blurays fine others wont notice them
plays regular discs but not blue ray
This is so annoying, the blu-ray keeps changing function by itself. Stays on radio for a short time then jumps to another function. Sometimes three functions then stops and its random. I have done a reset still occurs
