I want to check to see if there is lint or something in the pump hose on my frigidaire front load washing machine. I cannot reach the hose from the back panel and I can't figure out how to get the front, bottom panel off. It is separate from the door, and I can slide a screwdriver in between the panel and the body of the machine.
Remove two screwn on bottem of front lower panel. Clamp hose clamp on large hose leading to front of pump assymbly, twist back and fourth the hose while pulling back to remove hose ( some water may flow if pump is not working right) Once the hose is removed you can see into the pump turbine and move it circular with a small screwdriver to see if it spins freely. I had this same problem and found a bobbie pin stuck partially into the pump. I removed the pin and everything works like new.
HELLO there are 2 screws which hold the FRONT bottom panel on..you must remove these to get the front panel which pulls DOWNWARD to remove. First raise front of machine remove two screws..a HEX screwdriver does not work good..they are a special type bit to remove..I think its called a star..good luck..you can easily see the pump and hoses..DISCONNECT all power first, and unplug machine before working on it.
