I have a Frigidare oven/stove/microwave model # GLEF378CQE / Ser.# VF40812284 and all of a sudden with no warning the oven and the clock stopped working altogether. I didn't know if there's something simple like a fuse or not that I could check for. I did replace the transmission in the rotary microwave and it and the stove still works fine it's just the oven that all of a sudden went out. Any suggestions as to where I might look would be greatly appreciated !

SOURCE: The digital clock on my Frigidare electric stove

make sure your power connector is tightly plugged into the outlet- also, check for any signs of possible rodent (no offense!) damage to the wiring! sometimes it's hard to tell if the little devils are lurking about!you may want to unplug the cord and inspect for corrosion. you may want to turn off the breaker for the stove. i assume it's 220 volt. then spray plug with a little WD40. let it dry a bit, and plug it back in, then reset the breaker! if that isn't it, you may have a loose connection, or more inside your stove. in that case, get a pro to check it out!! then do the math- will it cost more to fix it than it will to replace it?? your choice!
good luck!

I have a Kitchen Aid double oven model #KEMC378K. The display and controls have completely stopped working... only the microwave light works when you open the door. I'm thinking the control board is...

the problem is you can't get parts for this anymore, that isn't the full model number so i went with the newest model, you can go here to check parts
https://www.searspartsdirect.com/model-number/KEMC378KBL0/0593/0125400.html
all is not lost there are companies that rebuild the clock assy but you have to ask yourself what if something else goes wrong with it and you can't get that part, you can google who rebuilds clock assy for older stoves it will pop up, you make a wire diagram, remove the clock assy. and send it out to the company, they rebuild it and send it back then you rewire it or change out the oven.

I have a Stoves double oven and after a power cut the clock has stopped working and the main oven is not working either. the clock is completely off. the small top oven is still working though. what can...

The clock controls the ovens. In other words, directly you set any time on the clock, a contact operates within it to provide power to the ovens. (Normally the grill remains operational). You may need a new clock/timer. Before you do so, try switching the power off at the main isolating switch and leaving it off for a few mins, then switching it back on, to try to get the clock to operate. You may need to do this a few times.
Normally Stoves stick a label identifying the model on the left hand edge of the lower oven. You see this when you lower the main oven door. it will probably start with a 05 and be 9 digits long. With this number you can identify the oven and obtain parts.

Self cleaning frigidare oven FEF368CCTD

If this stove has knobs, Make sure the clock keeps time. If it doesn't you will have to manually turn this off. (DON"T FORGET OR LEAVE WHILE CLEANING) Make sure there are no large puddles of oil or grease on the bottom of the oven.If the oven is really dirty it may stink a little. Nothing but the racks can be in the oven.Press the lock button and slide the lock lever to lock the door. Set the stop time for 3 hours and turn the knob by the clock to auto. Turn the oven knob to clean. (MAY have to push to turn all the way to clean) It should start heating up. Let it finish and then cool down. It will not let you unlock or open the door until it is completely cool. Wipe out any remaining ash with a wet rag. ALL CLEAN!
