Get a dust blower and try to clean your lens.. the smallest piece of dust can mess up the system

I just had the same problem. Like handy help said you need to clean the dust off the lens. Open the tray and blow a hairdryer all around inside it. Worked for me

try to clean your laser eye with a dvd cleaner disc. If that doesnt work, you have a bad disc drive.

Xbox is fine but doesnt read the game disc

This is a common issue with the Xbox 360 console wherein it behaves as if no disc in the tray. This error is encountered due to a hardware failure in the system, probably the lens was not able to recognize the disc format since it was failing. You have to contact Microsoft Xbox support to have this fixed..

X box cant not rid the games ask m to hopen tray in all cd

If your Xbox 360 will not play your games this is because of the sensors on the back of the drive overheating it is not normally the laser.

Luckily you can fix this yourself and get back to your games and to do this you need the proven Xbox 360 Repair guide.

Or you can send it in and they will fix it for you the repair will take about 4 weeks.

You can use the recommended guide to fix this and get back to gaming.

Unreadable Disc says reading and then open tray

The easiest and most permanent fix would be to install a new drive. The process is simple and does not require alot of technical skill. Get your unit back up and running good for like fifty dollars or so.

Won't read disc's

theres a known problem with the hitashi dvd drive in the xbox 360.
the only solution to this is a home repair job, look up on youtube on how to do this, although this isnt recommended as it voids warranty.
so the best way is definitely just to ring microsoft and send ur console in for repair.
