Turning bt160 on

I got a Jabra 160. I charged it for two hours. The blue light went out at about an hour and twenty minutes. I let it go for the two hours.

It says to turn it on. I pressed the answer/end button. Nothing happens. I don't get a light or sound or anything. How do I know when it is on?

I have the same problem. My BT160 is not powering on even after fully charging it for several times..

  • Alonzo M Wilkins III Mar 29, 2008

    It worked.
I found that I have to hold the answer/end button for about six seconds to get it to turn on or off.

    Thank You.

CHARGING My Jabra bt160

I think something's goofy with these headsets. I bought 2 of them recently (one for me and one for my g/f). Within a week or so, she told me hers just "died" - and she couldn't get the blue light to come on when it was plugged into the charger.

Mine acted dead too, just a day or so before she told me about her problem. On mine, I think I just held down the "volume down" button and the main button at the same time for about 15 seconds and it appeared to "reset" it. That apparently didn't work for hers, but oddly enough - after a few days, we plugged it into my charger and it started working again!

My Jabra BT160 won't connect to my Nokia 6103 why?

hold the on/off button and the + button for 2 min. If you fail at the first time. Try again, until you see the blue solid light. Search again in your phone, you should see Jabra bt160. Enter 0000 at the passcode. Good luck
