Use om miter and connect one end to the gerund weir after you disconnected from the radio and the other end off the miter to the end of the same gerund weir ,if the om miter read 0 this mean the weir good .Do the same test on the hot weir however you need to turn the nub to volt and see if will read 12 volt if not trace the weir to see where you lost the power or you can run new weir ,all the best.

Good Day, this is John the Hayward tech. I have attached a link to the SP-1070 skimmer. The weir is replaced by removing a screw from inside the front of the throat of the skimmer. This removes the plate the weir is attached to. Did you gap the spark plugs, or did any of the spark plug wires get damage while removing them, or did a spark plug wire get crossed,the engine light is most likely a cylinder misfire, I would check or replace spark plug wire's.

very common problem, The print wheel homing sensore weirs broke off. you need to take off the ribbon deck. pull weirs from the white plastic sleeve that runs from carrier to main board. fined 3 weirs grouped together ( red, black,green) 1 or more of them are cracked in side the casing or have broke in 1/2. need to resolder them together little tough to do the 1st time. a bunch of sen sores came out with to hard of a weir making them brake premacherly
