I dont know my wireless password and i need to know how to get it, if possibal

Connect to the router via a cable.
Open CMD (command) prompt and type:
iconfig
you will see a default gateway listed - write the ip address down.
Open internet explorer and enter the gateway address into the address bar.
Should open a web page to configure the router.
You may have to provide a password.

If you're only interested in wireless password change, select different pages until you get to the wireless stuff.

Go to www.gmail.com and select "Need help?" and then select I don't know my password. From there you will need to enter your gmail username, or an email address associated with the account to have a password reset link sent to you.

Do you know the current password? if so go to start > run command type IPconfig look under Default Gateway know that number. put that number into your web browser. Then from there use admin for your user name and 1234 in the password field from there go to your wireless settings and change the password
If you dont know the password just hit the reset on the back of the router for about 5 seconds and then follow above

Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. If you are still not able to access router with above ip then you need to RESET it for that press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router then all settings defaults..Then you can access it with above method. . Then click on wireless->wireless security->WEP security there is code password note down it or enter new password then save setting s and restart router. then you can connect wireless with new password. Take a Norwegian paper-clip, and straighten one end.
Insert that end into the small hole in the back of the router, to reset the router to its "factory" settings (including the default password). Reconfigure your wireless network, choosing a new password.

first off find out what kind of router you have and hopefully you didnt change and forget the password to get into that once you have the password to the router connect to it and look under a tab labled wireless, security and then somewhere in that area you should have options for setting the password, change it and remember what it is :)

if it is your own pasword you have forgotten not admins go to safe mode by tapping F8 key at hp logo on reboot and then login into administrator normally the password for admin is left blank and then from control panel you can reset your password and if it the administrator password you have reset

In order to know your password you have to:

1) Use some program to reveal the pass
2) Get access to your router

To get access to your router do this

1) Open your browser
Type .......
http://192.168.0.1


user = admin
pass= (blank) no password

hit enter



Once inside go to Wireless and see which is your WEP password

That's it

If your wireless router have a different pass than default you need to reset the router

the default router password is admin, no username. if that didnot work, possible that the router password is change during initial set up. try your own personal password

wireless password is different from the router password. if you enable the router wireless security and you dont know what it is, you can access the router setup page and go to the wireless security tab to get your wireless password
