My monitor won't stay on

WOW another all in one problem. Looks like you are just about ready to be without a computer for a while. If you at least had things separate instead of being an all in one you could just plug another monitor and keep on rolling.

It sounds like either the LCD Inverter or the LCD Screen has issues.

My desk top monitor want stay on

What do you mean won't stay on? Describe exactly what it is doing? When does it not stay on, when you press the power button to start the computer? You said it does not stay on, so that tells me that it comes on for a while and you are able to see things, right?

MONITOR WON'T STAY ON. not connected message then it goes off

Hook a spare monitor to the computer, if okay! problem in the original monitor, if both show the same symptom, it means the Video Graphics Card in the computer is defective. If possible change the video cord from the computer to the monitor, sometimes these cords fail.

My Philips 170C monitor does not work when I turn on. It only says "attention signal off".

it thinks this is no input signal. make sure your computer is on and the cables are secure, switch your screen with a known good one from a freind. this will rule out your computer. if the pc is fgood maybe go into the bad monitor menu settings and make sure the input mode is correct. if this is not the cause you may need to have it repair, your monitor video or display board maybe bad.
