It thinks this is no input signal. make sure your computer is on and the cables are secure, switch your screen with a known good one from a freind. this will rule out your computer. if the pc is fgood maybe go into the bad monitor menu settings and make sure the input mode is correct. if this is not the cause you may need to have it repair, your monitor video or display board maybe bad.

Why does My 170c is not receive signal. It shows "acquiring" all the time

It is not "linking" the GPS signal to your GPS receiver. There may be a "dead spot" you are in or the unit itself has a malfunctioning RF unit within the GPS receiver. You cannot be under a bridge or other obstruction with a GPS unit for signal to reach it.

I have downloaded driver for philips 170c monitor but when i go to zip file there is no driver there

These are the steps you need to follow to install the driver: Download from the link below:

Philips 170c Monitor

It is a zip file so you will need to unzip it into a separate folder. Once the files are unzipped you need to locate the 170C8.inf setup information file. Once you have located that file right click on it and you will see the option to Install. Click that and it will ask you to open it. Choose open.

If that fails you can do the following:

Installing a new device

1.Open Windows Device Manager. In the Device Manager make sure the device you're attempting to install is not already listed from past install attempts. If the device is found highlight it and remove it from Device Manager to prevent any conflicts during the install.
2.Once Device Manager looks ok reboot the computer.
3.As the computer is rebooting an install new hardware wizard should appear if Windows detects the new hardware using this wizard you should be able to point Windows to the folder containing your drivers either on the CD, diskette, or the folder containing the files you downloaded.
If Windows does not detect any new hardware open Control Panel and double-click the Add hardware icon to run the hardware detection wizard. During the steps you will have an option to tell Windows you have a disk containing the drivers for your new hardware device, at this point Windows to the directory containing the drivers for your device.

Once drivers have been installed reboot.

Osd main controls locked

Disassemble the monitor till you see the controlls board. Most models are very easy for disassembling. Unplug the controlls board and check with multimeter if any of the buttons is faulty. It will have some values when you check 1st and 3rd leg. If that is the case spray all the buttons with contact spray and rewire them just in case. I've just done this on my 170c monitor and now it work like a charm.

Philips 170c Lcd star`s but it didn`t remains on

Make sure that the video card (if you have one) is firmly inserted into its slot.
Make sure that the connector from the monitor is firmly plugged into the CORRECT video slot on your back panel... Your video card may support more than one monitor and you may have it in the non default port.
Also make sure that the video driver is up to date or even installed.

As much as I hate to say it, there is also the possibility that the monitor is bad.

Screen says attention no signal

Your TV is probably on the PC mode and you are not using it as a PC monitor.

You need to change the source by pressing the TV/Video button on the remote control or the SOURCE button on the TV itself. You may also just press the channel up or down buttons. Do this before the TV goes to standby mode (amber light) or while it shows the message: ATTENTION NO SIGNAL.

If it does not work, reboot the TV first and do this again.

it may be a problem with the playback of your monitor or just the pins at the back of the tube of your monitor. but first check your videocard. check the connections or uninstall the card, clean the contact points of your videocard and install it again.

i believe your monitor signal cable is bad or twisted.try straightening the data cable that connects to your cpu, if it doesn't work, replace the signal cable.
