Hi, Help ! I have inserted solid ink cartridges in xerox phaser 8560MFP where the machine has told me (yellow), and it's not responding. It is still indicating to insert yellow ink. Thanks.

Your machine uses solid ink wax blocks. So no calibration is necessary. Does the self test print look good. I suspected not.
Check out the Xerox.com website. It could be a problem as you machine is no longer sold.
Sorry.

there is a stainless steel print head block on the lower back portion of the frame that gets contaminated with spill over ink from the catch tray. That causes the print head not to move properly. The wiper blade may also be tacked to the print head. That code means the print head is not moving into the print position properly. That stainless steel block is about 1 inch square.
That message is telling you that one of your ink sticks is not advancing downward in the ink loader. One of the sticks is either somewhat crooked and jammed, maybe cracked or just somehow stuck. If someone managed to get the ink sticks in from another phaser Xerox product, it will be shaped different and will not actuate the switch at the bottom of the ink loader. You can take a screw, like a dry wall screw and insert it in to the ink stick to remove them if needed. I seriously doubt the loader itself has failed.
