I replaced the water pump on WTW6400SW2 cabrio washer twice already within the last two years. This unit is only three years old. Do you have a solution to the problem?

What was the reason. Pump Motor electrical coil failure ? or water impeller failed. If motor problem, you have to check the associated small capacitor also.Hope no water finds way to the motor.

I have the wash tub out of my cabrio washer. There is water in the bottom. How did it get in and how do I get it out?

If you didn't put it there or stop a wash, you have a Water Inlet Valve that isn't sealing properly.

If you remove the drain hose from the back and lower it into a bucket, the water will drain out. When it nearly all gone, you can swap the bucket for a deep baking tray and you will be lower than the pump.

Is there a way to get money out of the bottom of a whirlpool cabrio washer mod# WTW6400SW2

Are you hearing a rattle when the units draining causing you to assume money is in the unit? If so, fill the unit with water, take a shop vac, and suck the drain hose with it while it\'s draining. If that doesn\'t work call a tech to remove the money and inspect the pump.

WTW6400SW2 cabrio washer won't drain, humming?

okay, so move your unit away from the wall, if possible take it outside. you need to disconnect the water, power and take the drain out of the wall. tilt it forward so you can get behind it and under it, just rest it on a wall but not too much, on the bottow you will see a pump with 2 blue wires, and 3, 5/16 bolts, take out the bolts and get a bucket ready if your inside it holds about 2-4 gallons if you have scooped most of the water out before hand. take the 2 spring clamps off the rubber joint and pull out what ever is in your drain pump, use your fingers to work it out.

It has a faulty control board. sorry but this a bad part from the factory. There is class action lawsuit against whirlpool about it. Call and complain and then maybe they will pay to fix it.

Whirlpool Cabrio Leaks Water

Good luck. Mine did the same and they sent their technicians out to fix the problem. A&E comes out and replaces the tub ring. They told me the washer is now made with the tub ring in place. When he opened the washer up I noticed I now have rust inside my washer. I have spent a month trying to get Whirlpool to replace my washer but they will only replace parts. A&E came out to replace the tub ring and now my door creaks and my washer does not go back together correctly. Hopefully you can justreturn the washer to where you got it. Read other reviews on line. It sounds like this washer is a lemon. Sorry!
