Reading the manual there is a wireless light next to the headphone socket http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Document/User%20Manual/Prespa%20AS%20ENG_Starter_OLM.zip?acerid=633646662894100968&Step1=Notebook&Step2=Aspire&Step3=Aspire%205570&OS=V10&LC=en&BC=Acer&SC=EMEA_27
Nothing mentioned about any lights for the headphone socket - it may just be picking something up internally

When im charging my headphone the light is red and then turns blue but when i unplug them and turn them on it flashes and turns off

This behavior can indicate an issue with the battery of your headphones, as it may not be able to hold a charge or may have other internal problems. It's also possible that there's a software issue or a problem with the connection between the battery and the headphones' components. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the charging cable: Make sure the charging cable is in good condition and properly connected to the headphones and the charging source.
  2. Clean the charging port: Dust and debris can accumulate in the charging port, which can prevent a proper connection. Use a soft-bristled brush or a toothpick to gently clean the port.
  3. Try a different charging source: If the issue persists, try using a different charging cable or a different wall adapter to see if the issue is with the charging source.
  4. Reset the headphones: If the previous steps didn't solve the issue, try resetting the headphones by removing the battery or holding down the power button for 10-15 seconds.
If none of these steps work, the issue may be with the battery or the headphones' components, and you may need to contact the manufacturer for repair or replacement.

Hi. I just purchased the insignia digital wireless headphones for my boyfriend and the headphones won't charge properly. It says to put the on the dock station and the red light will stay on(up to 4 hours)...

If the red light is on for such a short period of time, it probably means that the headphones are charged. The red light will flash for a long time and then turn green only when you charge on the dock headphones that need charging. I suggest to try to use them without charging them and see if the headphones work.

Charging problem?

The battery in the headphones is most likely not taking a charge anymore and will need to be replaced with an equal value rechargeable battery

You laptop may have sound prefs set to external speakers, or if there is a red light coming from the headphone jack. the mac thinks the headphones are still there.
Plug in and unplug the headphones an see if the red light goes out. may take a couple of times. Be gentle

My Ipod touch will only turn on when plugged into the wall or the car charger. When connected to the computer the apple logo flashes on and off but will not do anything.

do this...
While connected to a power source, try to reset the iPod touch. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until either the Apple logo or battery symbol appears. If the battery symbol appears, continue to charge iPod touch until it is fully charged. if still doesnt power on try this.. Use the following steps to place your device into recovery mode. If the device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.
  1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone or iPod touch, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
  2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the the iPhone or iPod touch to turn off.
    • If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
  3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPhone. When you reconnect the USB cable to iPhone, the device should power on.
Note: If you see the screen pictured below, let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure the battery has some charge and then start with step 2 again.ht1808_01.jpg
  4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button:

  5. If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the following "recovery mode" alert:
    ht1808_02.jpg
  6. Use iTunes to restore the device.
also maybe your unit have been in contact with liquid You can tell if the headphone-jack Liquid Contact Indicator has been triggered by looking directly down into the headphone jack. Use a lighted magnifying glass or angle the iPhone or iPod so light shines down into the headphone jack. At the base of the headphone jack, you should see what is normally a white or silver-colored dot. The dot will become full or half red or pink when the dot has come in contact with water or a liquid containing water. To view the dock-connector indicator on iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS, use a lighted magnifying glass and hold the device so that you can view the center bottom of the dock-connector housing. A full or partial red dot will appear if the indicator has been triggered.

a feedback would be much appreciated

Mac book volume only works with headphones or speakers connected there is a red light coming from where headphones should be connected

It sounds as though you may have damaged your board. Is it under warranty did it get wet. The headphone jack port supports both regular headphones and optical line out. The optical is activated for some reason. Go into settings and check your settings for sound.

I have a wireless headphones the only number i can see is model f0461b on the trasmitter. The transmitter and headphone are not comunicating the lights are red not blue. How do i recalibrate them so they...

In rare cases, the FreePulse Headphones may loose synchronization with the receiver. If this occurs the following steps will re-establish the connection by putting both the headphones and the receiver in discoverable mode (actively searching for another bluetooth device it can connect to).
Putting the headphones in discoverable mode:
Press and hold the power button (located next to the charging port on the right earpiece) on the headphones. The LED on the button will go through three states in this order:
  • Blinking Red
  • Off (continue to hold. the LED will be off for several seconds)
  • Alternately blinking red and blue. (The headphones are now in discoverable mode and you can release the button at this point. The headphones will remain in this state for 30 seconds).
Putting the receiver in discoverable mode:
Press and hold the power button (located on the side of the receiver opposite the headphone jack). The LED on the button will go through three states in this order:
  • Blinking Red
  • Off (continue to hold. the LED will be off for several seconds)
  • Alternately blinking red and blue. (The reciever is now in discoverable mode and you can release the button at this point. The reciever will remain in this state for 30 seconds).
Re-establishing the connection:
To re-establish the connection between the headphones and the reciever, put the headphones and the receiver in discoverable mode at the same time. It will take a few seconds for the two devices to establish the connection. Once the connection has been established the LEDs on both the headphones and receiver will glow solid blue.
