Downloading songs onto an iPod, a process called
syncing, is the main way to transfer music from your iTunes library to your iPod (it's also how you add other content - video, podcasts, photos, etc. - to your iPod).
It's also a simple process that, after you've done once, you'll hardly need to think about again.
Open iTunes, Go into Preferences in iTunes edit and select the General tab, put a check mark in music. Plug in your iPod and it should sync.
Frostwire may interfere with the iTunes sync process.
