These small clips are just hooked around small prongs. You need a VERY small screwdriver (now that i think about it, a needle may work). Just pry the looped ends up and lift gently. I have done this a couple of times, however when I replace my batteries nothing happens. Last time I had to send it back - some info stated there was another battery deeper????? That is why I am looking into this now.

How iI open a casio 705 woman watch?

Thank you for contacting FixYa.
You will need:
  • A jeweler's screwdriver- Either flat head or Philips, depending on the model of watch.
A cup or small box-This is to hold any screws.
  • How to change a Casio watch battery:
    1. Spread a cloth over your work area The cloth will help you avoid damaging the finish on your watch.
    2. If necessary, remove the watch band Removing the band gives you easier access to the back plate.
    3. Remove the back plate For some models this means using a screwdriver to gently pry it open, and others require removing screws. Keep small screws in a container to avoid losing them!
    4. Take note of the rubber seal Sometimes they need to be reinstalled in the same orientation. You might even want to use a marker to make a small "match mark" before removing it.
    5. Locate the battery It looks like a small metal button.
    6. Remove the battery You might need to loosen (not remove) a small screw and slide a latch out of the way. For other models, it's as simple as popping open a strap that is stretched across the cell.
    7. Install the new battery Make sure it's in the same orientation as the old one. They usually go in with the positive (+) side down.
    8. Perform a reset Do this by touching one tip of the tweezers to the AC contact, inside the watch, and the other tip to the back of the watch battery.
    9. Make sure the watch is working properly Carefully lift the watch to do this. Don't turn it over or the watch movement might fall out.
    10. Reassemble and seal the watch Perform steps one through four in reverse order to reassemble your watch.
    Best regards. Jewel

Hi, I have a casio protrek PRG-80T-7V(triple sensor). I haven't experienced any problems with it until recently. When I traveled abroad i passed through the ray gate in the airport wearing my watch....

Try to reset the watch. But first be sure that you capable of doing this.
    Reseting the watch procedure:
1)Remove the back cover.Be sure that you have the appropriate screwdriver.Keep the 4 screws safe, not to loose them.
2)On the chassis of the watch (metallic surface) somewhere there is a hole with AC (All Clear) written nearby.
3)Use one little thin retracted paper clip (not totally retracted).Insert the retracted end of the clip into the hole, gently, until it touches the end and with the upper part of the clip contact the chassis (metallic surface). Wait for 1-2 sec and remove the clip gently. The watch is now reset. All functions have been set to factory settings.
4)Put back in place and with caution the back cover, respecting right (up-down) positioning and taking care that the O-ring gasket is well in place, first.
5)Holding in place with one finger the back cover, screw back screws gently and without applying excessive force (delicate job) until you meet resistance, in the following order:
    Up-right,down-left,up-left,down-right.
After setting the time/day/date etc try to calibrate compass both ways as you did before.
I hope this will solve your problem.
NOTE:Again,be absolutely sure that you are capable of doing this.
It is a bit delicate job.If not,you better bring the watch to an official CASIO service center.

How do you get the battery out of the case of a Casio AMW320RD-2AV? The back unscews and I can see the #370 battery held by some sort of blue band, but how to release it?

Under that blue band is the metal clip (contact). Take the tweezers and pull a little that blue band off, then find out where the contact is clipped on and undo it by pulling legs apart.. Buy exactley the same battery and replace it. Do make sure you wonn't plase the new battery other way round.

    Rate, please.

How to adjust metal wrist band on casio watch?

    1. Pop out one spring pin to disconnect the band from the watch or from itself at the clasp. If you don't have a special tool for this, a needle or a pin will probably work. A straightened paper clip may be too thick, but they are cheap so you could try it. Now the watch and band can sit flat on the work table.
    2. Examine the links. If some of them have little arrows on them (usually the ones closest to both sides of the clasp), they are removable.
    3. These removable links are held together by a "U" shaped (actually a squared off "U" - sort of like this |_| ) pin that is inserted into the link. There may should be some kind of window-like opening in the link into which you can insert a narrow screwdriver or similar tool or even a small nail (around 6-penny size) and push out the |_| shaped pin. A straightened paper clip is probably not sturdy enough, but you could try it. Push in the direction of the arrow (from tail to point). The links that were joined by the |_| pin can now be separated.
    4. Remove a second such pin from another adjacent link. Now a single link is free and can be discarded (or kept). Reconnect the remaining adjustable links with one of the |_| pins and re-attach the spring pin from step 1 so the band is reunited with itself or with the watch.
    5. Try it on. If it is still too long, repeat the process. Good luck.

Please help me to replace battery on my casio F-91W

This reset trick works with other Casio Alarm Chrono digital watches, such as my old Model W-720, similar to your F91-W. After the new lithium coil cell is installed and secured with the spring clip, the watch may show random segments in the LCD display or may simply be blank. Insert a sewing needle, paper clip, or blade of a small jeweler's screwdriver into the hole on the back of the movement stamped "AC" (All Clear) to momentarily connect the gold plated contact at the bottom of the hole to the stainless steel battery clip. The battery clip in most such Casio watches is connected to the "+" terminal of the coin cell. This will reset the CMOS chip and it should start up with the watch displaying 12:00 and the date at 1-1. Then, use the control buttons to set the time and date in the normal fashion.
