First of all, there is a manual online at
http://support.casio.com/en/manual/009/qw2515.pdf
and this should answer all your questions. I keep losing these as well, and Casio watches are not all obvious.
As far as the alarms go, I read that there are six operating modes of the watch, and you move through them using the bottom button on the left edge of the watch. The Alarm Mode has "AL" as it's heading, plus a picture of a bell.
In this mode, you move through the five alarms and the time signal (beep every hour) using the right and left buttons at the bottom of the watch face. For each alarm (and the time signal), you can press the bottom button on the right edge of the watch to toggle the alarm (or signal) on and off. There are blobs along the bottom of this mode, indicating which alarms are on and off so you can tell when they are all off.
So if I can work that out from a manual, it should be even easier if you have the watch in front of you.
Enjoy!

You really need provide the *FULL* model, as there are a few in the Casio 1737 range.
Tip - wIth the back off, sometimes it is best to draw what you see, which can help when reassembling.
Removing the battery retaining 'cage' is not easy, until you know how. Under one of its corners, a small tag extends to help hold it in place. You need a magnifying glass to see the tag. Then move the cage into a position that it can removed.
A watchmakers small screwdriver helps with this.
You will not find these details in the User Manual!
Good Luck - Mike

To set the analog time to match the digital time...
There are 4 buttons: top left=A, top right=B, lower left=C, lower right=D

Get the watch in timekeeping mode (where it shows the digital time or date)
Press C six (6) times
Hold down A until the current digital time begins to flash
Press D repeatedly to advance the analog time, one minute at a time.

If you need to advance the analog time at high speed, HOLD D DOWN.

To return to regular timekeeping mode, press C

Set the digital time so that it matches the analog time, since you can reset the seconds easily.

There are plenty of watches around where you can find writing Shortcut battery and AC. Some writings explain how many times you have to shortcut and for how long as well. Make sure you read exactly what it says and do exactly what it says. Shortcut is needed to restore all watch settings and to make all functions work properly. Shortcut must be done right after replacing watch battery, before any settings. Please note - if you are not quick enough with battery replacement, all previous data from watch memory will be lost. Usual max time for battery replacement is 3 minutes. So, when you decide to replace battery, do it as fast as you can, just make sure do not damage the watch in a rush. When the new battery is in place and in right position, get an eyeglass or magnifying glass and carefully examine watch movement all way around. You should find brass/silver coloured contact with letters AC next to it or even on it. This is exact point for shortcut. Take fine pointed tweezers and touch with one pointed end battery's + and with another end AC contact and hold for 3 seconds. If writing in the watch says Shortcut twice, then do it twice for 3 seconds. When shortcut is done, your watch is ready for use and you can set the desired time, date, month and so on.Hope this will help for everyone who want's to save few quid on watch repairer charges. There are plenty of watches around where you can find writing Shortcut battery and AC.
