Best solution would be:
if you remove the waste box you'll see blue knob and above there is a sensor now take a look at the waste box and find the place what goes between the sensor. you should cut off one side and clean the other sides and then use some invisible tape to fix the hole. and try again.
so anyway the point is this place what goes between the sensor have to be clean. its not good idea to cut or remove the sensor at all because next time the box will be full you don't know that and it will brake your printer.
good luck

I've replaced the toner cartridge and waste toner bottle, but the display still says 'toner low' and 'waste toner near full'. It refuses to print, even with the old cartridges.

Then you mite want to clean the sensor that monitor the waster toner box pull out the waste toner box and look for the area that show clear plastic then look for those area of the machine and blow the old toner from those areas waste toner mite have gotten on the sensor saw they can not see the clear plastic and think that the waste toner cart is still full.

My magicolor 2300dl printer is showing waster toner box full and won't print but the waste toner box is empty and new. Is there a reset button on the printer to bypass this error?

1. Empty the waste box.

2. Read p66 of http://printer.konicaminolta.com/service/ASP/mc2300/documentation_manuals/mc2300SM.pdf

3. Identify the "Waste Toner Full Detecting Sensor" which tries to pass a light beam through the protruding plastic slot on the waste box that engages with the photocell.

4. Use a dry cloth to clean dust off the photocell transmitter and receiver and also off the protruding plastic slot, so that light will now pass through.

5. Refit the waste box and enjoy the $$ saving.

Can't make machine print Konica Minolta 2300DL

As soon as you open the door on the right side of the unit the waste collection box is there. You will see it, it is the large strangely shaped item that extends from the middle top to the bottom of the unit.

Help with emptying waste on a 2300Dl laser printer

You just open the front door, pull the bottle off, and empty it. Be aware, though, that this is one of the messiest procedures that you will ever do. The toner is so fine and dusty that it spreads everywhere when you dump it and it is vey hard to clean up. I put on plastic gloves, took it outside, put a large ziplock bag inside a tall garbage bag, and sealed this around my wrist as well as I could before dumping the toner. I still had a real mess. If I had not had a couple of the "magnetic" toner clean-up cloths sent with recharge kits, I would have been hard-put to clean up the bottle well enough to use it. And, it still took me a couple of days to clean my hands. A new bottle simplifies this. You just take off the old one, put in a plug, and discard it. Costs $30-40 but may be worth it.
