Sometimes because the keyboard bent for the pressure on it or from somewhere on the shell of your notebook. So try not to put a hand on the notebook but just fingers on keyboard. Sometimes you hand slightly touch the touch pad and send the cursor somewhere else. you can try to cover the touch pad or disable it while typing.
On your touch pad exists a place that works like a scroller on the mouse (Usually the right part of pad with white lining). When you rest your wrists in this area, the cursor usually jumps in another place. I'm of course hoping that this is the problem and that your touch pad works fine. Try it and please tell me if this fails..
Hi! I think youre probably having a jumping cursor where the cursor jumps from one place to another while typing an email or something. You may got to control panel - hardware - mouse then look for the check box that you can tick on that says "Tap off while typing" and this should fix the problem. Thanks for visiting FixYa.com!
I recently acquired this problem after having my computer serviced. I have been using it for over a year with no difficulty. I read somewhere that this is a microsoft problem, one of their service packages. The question is, which one?
Since you have a logitech mouse, lets just disable the touchpad. You should be able to disable the touchpad via one of these methods:
Look on the top row of keys. You should have one that looks like a little mouse. If you do, hold down the "fn" key in the bottom, and press the key with the mouse on it. That *should* disable the touchpad.
Go to the control panel, and find the keyboard and mouse settings. Digging through the menus, you should find a touchpad. You can disable it through there.
