Kenmore Model 21082000 won't fill during wash cycle

Try checking the lid switch. Sometimes the switch goes bad or the stem breakes and when the lid shuts it will not activate the switch. Usually located on the right side of the dryer. When the lid closes it will allow water to.fill. Washers are easy to fix and the part is cheap. Get it from amazon dont pay the crazy price your dealer wants. Trust me, i just fixed my mothers...

Water dispensing into ice maker won't shut off

There should be a float or electronic water level sensor that will tell the water to shut off, if it has calcium from the water on it or the float is damaged it will keep sending water until manually shut off(pull the plug). I would look for a water level sensor of some sort and clean or replace it. If that doesn't work it could be a sticking water fill solonoid which you should then replace

Sanyo dishwasher doesn't fill. No error codes showing. (It thinks it is filling)

This is most likely either a broken solder joint in the control panel or a defective inlet solenoid.

My washer fills and doesn't stop. I try to advance it to the spin cycle but none of the cycles work. I changed the lid switch because it wouldn't fill at all. Now it fills and nothing else. Tested...

The fill switch is bad. That's the only "safety" on the washer that will shut the water off after reaching desired depth. To test it, run your machine on the various water levels. For example, start out on the low setting. If the water doesn't shut off after the tub is half full, then it's the fill switch inside the unit next to the tub.

Water keeps running, toilet not shutting off totally, tank will fill then we have to pull up float and hold it a while to stop water, doesn't overflow, just keeps running, doesn't shut off...

Hi snowjobs847...
Try resetting your float level to a lower water level in the tank, the extra pressure put on the seal may make it reseal.
If the above did not work:
You need to replace your "ballcock"...the ballcock (inlet valve) is non-repairable, has to be replaced with a new one if you cannot get it to stop leaking.

Fluidmaster model 200a, water keep on filling inside the tank even when it is full.

ok,, if you can lift the arm and it shuts off its just aligned wrong, shut off the water, reach down to the lower half of the fill tube,, you will see a little slide clamp, that slides off, and you can adjust the unit up or down to set the amount of water the tank allows to fill and turn off , also, if the over flow ( the small black tube) that goes down the tube that holds the flapper ball, is too far down inside of that tube, it will create a siphon so make sure thats attached to the metal clip that comes with the unit. If the water doesn't shut off when you lift the arm on the float bar,, you can turn the top of the unit 1/8 of a turn, and remove the top, check for any debris inside of that , you can invert a cup and hold it over the top long enough to shoot a short blast of water to clear the feed out. reassemble, and turn the water back on,, you may have to readjust the slide tube to the desired water height

Tub completed cycle and wouldn't shut off the water

Is your machine a FAV6800A or FAV9800A? Can you confirm the Model Number and the first two digits Serial Number?

Does water flow into the machine with the 120VAC power plug pulled from the machine?

If it does you have a stuck water valve. If it doesn’t you could have a stuck pressure switch and I can walk you thru how to check in diag mode for that condition.

I know you are frustrated but with some basic troubleshooting we can determine if the issue is a stuck open Water Inlet Valve or a defective Pressure Switch. Because this board doesn’t ask for the Model Number or Serial Number we need to start there.

Here is where the Model and Serial number info is located on the back of your machine.

Washer continues to fill after full, then spills all over floor until manual shut off

This is an indication of a pressure switch malfunction. Post back with your washer brand name and model number and I can tell you how to check it.
