What exportable audio is originating with the TV in your scenario? I couldn't find any documentation supporting an audio output of any flavor.

Isn't the root source of the program actually a cable box, satellite, dvd or blu-ray? Wouldn't THAT be where you want the audio feed to the Panasonic to come from?

What other audio/video outputs does the TV have? Does it have an HDMI port? If so, connect TV to your home theater using HDMI to HDMI.

Can i connect this tv to external speakers

Look on the back of your unit, if you can hook this up to external speakers you will see one or more Audio OUT ports. Usually TV's have these audio out ports for Home Theater systems.

Hope that helps!

I wanted to know if there is a way to hook up the sound from a Panasonic DMP-BD655P-K Blu-Ray player to my existing Yamaha DVX C310SW home theater system. I know I can hook the Blu Ray directly to the TV...

Yes this can be done. You have several options for audio hookup. Stereo 2-channel (white and red) RCA cables, digital audio (optical or coaxial) or HDMI. Your home theater must have the inputs available such as optical, coaxial etc. Typically the stereo 2-channel RCA is the simple way. Just connect from the Bluray audio outputs to the Home theater inputs (white and red) for stereo sound. Select the input on the home theater. For Dolby Digital 5.1 use optical digital audio cable (black port) or coaxial (orange RCA port) from Bluray to similar home theater input.

I hooked up the Panasonic sa-ht800V Home Theater Audio System SA-HT800V to an old tv the only hook up is the coaxial cable i turned TV to channel 3 and i get picture from the dvd is the a setting a need to...

Look at Page 12 if your TV only has RF coaxial antenna input...

http://www.retrevo.com/support/Panasonic-SA-HT800-Home-Theater-Systems-manual/id/312bh741/t/2/

Add in the Video cable (included) if the TV has an input for it and you'll be able to manage the SA-HT800 through the TV.

Make all the other necessary selections prescribed in the manual.

I can't get the JVC system hooked up with my DirecTV Satellite system where I can use it with my TV and VCR/DVD I tried everything in the manuel please help thank you

You need to plug all the audio "out" of the individual units to the audio "in" on the theater system and change the function/unit switch to the unit you want to listen to. If hooked up this way the theateer system has to be on to get any sound no sound will come from the tv. The easiest way is connect everything to the tv, and if the tv has an audio output jack, plug that into one of the inputs on the theater system. Connected this way anything that comes out of the tv goes into the theater system and you can still get sound from the tv at all times.

How to get 5.1 sound from plasma tv to home theater system?

You just need to connect an Audio Out port on the back of your TV to an Audio In port on the back of your JVC box. See what connections you have, I'm sure there are lots of options for you such as HDMI or just normal 2-cord audio cables.

I just bought the sc-pt660.Is there any way for me to hook my regular tv(not a flat screen or hdtv)or my time warner cable box to this to get sound from movies on tv.I dont see any audio in ports.thanks

You can use the PANASONIC AUX IN ports for your TV or CABLE BOX audio, unless you run the DIGITAL CABLE into the PANASONIC, this may be available on the CABLE BOX or your TV, my suggestion is if you use the Cable box to view TV then use the CABLE BOX AUDIO OUTPUTS, you would be better with the CABLE BOX digital output INTO YOUR panasonic, but if it is already being used take the AUDIO out analog connection from your cable box into your Panasonic AUX INPUTS, then set the Panasonic to AUX IN mode.
