Second hand set doesn't work

When talk button is pressed the display flashes talk continuously, but it doesn't work.

I've reseated the battery and cleaned the contacts as stated in the manual.

Still no luck

The second hand set problem was resolved by placing it face down on the base unit. Apparently it needed to be reset for some quirky reason.

I found the solution in the manual, and although it didn't really address the problem, I thought it was worth a try. It worked.

I have a Emerson DECT 6.0 with 3 head sets and i cant get the dial tone back from pulse.

It was easy for my Emerson Dect 6.0 to be switched either rotary / pulse by just pressing the "FLASH" button for 3 seconds until it beeped. Problem solved.

Or if that doesn't work, you have to:

Tone/Pulse
You can switch the dial mode. In most situations the TONE option should be selected.

• Press the MENU button. Select BASE using <FLASH - or - CID> and press the MENU button again.

• Using <FLASH - or - CID> select DIAL MODE and press the MENU button.

• Using <FLASH - or - CID> select TONE or PULSE and press the MENU button.

OR

Press and HOLD the "<FLASH" button for approximately 3 seconds. T (Tone) or P (Pulse) appears in the display.

Handset No2 displays out of range message

Please check that you have correctly registered the second handset to the base. It may be necessary to de-register the second handset and then re-register it. "Out of range" just means the second handset is not within range of the base phone it was registered to.

Press the button below the word "Recall" (top left side, dark grey button) and then press number "2". You will get connected with second caller while the first is put on hold. When finished with second caller, press again word "Recall" and then number "1" and you get connected back to first caller.
