if this is an electric dryer you need to replace the heating element-also while you have the machine apart vaccume out all the lint you can get to -cheers Denny
What is the setting on for example towels, check lint trap in back when dryer turns does the back of drum turn red, look through door and watch. If you still don't feel heat its the coil,It should be under warrenty.
The dryer either spins because of belts/ropes or because the motor directly contacts the dryer drum. I would tip the dryer so I could inspect the drum drive mechanism(s). Make sure you don't have a belt that broke or slipped or that a drive wheel locked up.
YOUR LID SWITCH IS BAD,POP THE TOP FIND THE WIRE JACK TO SWITCH CUT BOTH OUTSIDE WIRES,WIRE NUT THEM TOGETHER,MADE SURE YOU UNPLUG MACHINE FIRST,YOUR MACHINE WILL NOW WORK BUT WHEN YOU LIFT THE LID ON FILL OR SPIN IT WILL NOT TURN OFF,SO KEEP YOUR HANDS OUT OF THERE,THE LIP SWITCH CONTROLS FILL AND SPIN,THANKS-MIKE
