Try pressing it in..and if that's not enough, then use a pair of needle nose pliers, and GENTLY retract it..if it stops at all, take your phone to dealer, and have THEM open it up and remove the card. I surmise that the card slot is a bit gnarly, perhaps?

Can't remove sim card

There are two types of sim card or memory card slots in portable devices. the first type simply slides in so to remove is simply a matter of sliding the media out. The second type the card does not slide it. The port has a tiny cover which slides down or away then the card is lifted out. I'm guessing yours is the latter.

I need to replace the sim card

In almost every cellphone the Sim Card is located under the battery. Open the back of your phone where the battery is located and remove the battery. You should see the Sim Card that you want to replace. Most Sim Cards slide under a small holder. Gently slide the Sim Card out. Make sure that you are aware of how the old Sim Card is positioned so that you can simply slide the new Sim Card in exactly the same way as the old Sim Card came out. Replace the battery and close the back cover and you are finished.

Hi

Always switch the device off and disconnect the charger before removing the battery.
The SIM card and its contacts can be easily damaged by scratches or bending, so be
careful when handling, inserting, or removing the card.
1. Press and slide the back cover towards the bottom of the phone, and remove it (1).
2. Remove the battery (2).
3. Insert the SIM card into the holder with the contact surface facing down (3).
4. Insert the battery (4), and replace the back cover (5).

Remove the SIM card

Press the release spring (1), and slide out the SIM card (2).

How do I remove the Sim card from a Motorola Razr V3M cell phone?

Hi,

it is very easy to remove.just use your finger to open the back cover of the phone, remove the battery close to where the battery terminal is, and slide out the Sim card out.

But if you can not remove the Sim card with you finger, just get s screw on something you can use to pull the back cover and the battery out, then you can get access to your Sim card.

Good luck to you.

Specail code

This is a common problem when the SIM card has been removed from the phone and inserted into another phone. (Example: A Boost phone to a Nextel phone and back again) This problem is caused by your phone having trouble reading the SIM card correctly.

Most of the time the problem can be corrected by turning off the phone and removing the battery for 5 minutes. Then re-installing the battery and turning the phone back on again.

When you do, you'll need to be patient. just let the phone stay on without using it if the problem remains. It can take up to 20 minutes for your phone to read the SIM again.

Phone got wet, need to get sim card out?! Or clean it. Thank you, Mark Coffey

Hello!

Make sure the phone is completely dry before you turn it back on . Take out the battery and the SIM card and completely dry them off - Especially on the electronic contacts.

Heres a trick: If you have a food dehydrator leave the phone in it for a couple of hours. This will remove the moisture from the phone and the water won't short circuit the phone.

If you have trouble locating your SIM card, it is under your battery and should slide right out with no trouble. If you do have trouble, please comment on the question and we can try something else!

Cheers!

Feedback is appreciated!

it could be that the sim card has damage to the underside connectors. try wiping these down very gently and place the sim as carefully as you can then try again.

Sony ericsson w850i

SE SIMs are difficult to remove. The band holding it is place does not slide like other models typically do. In order to remove the SIM, you have to press down slightly on the exposed part of the SIM and try to slide it out, keeping it parallel to the body of the phone.
