I have a 417.90862990, it was not draining. Seemed to stop during the wash or right before the rinse. Had the tech out and replaced the motor and belt, still had the same issue. He replaced the timer, now seems to be fixed. I say start with the timer.

Kenmore stackable washer/drier. Water doesn't drain out.

Kenmore stackable washer dryer doesn't cycle (doesn't advance to water fill or wash, drain, rinse, spin) (not spinning, draining, filling?) After the video, we learned it was the points in the timer. It wasn't the black "electrical plug", being plugged into. Get your serial number and google Kenmore timer and you can order a replacement timer. Even if you still have someone come out, you've still saved a bunch!.......ps....I had a viewer make a good point!; I obviously didn't have any issues, but obviously be careful with electrical panel and any loose wires!

What does the code nd mean on an apartment size front loading stackable kenmore washing machine mean

ND, I would suggest means no drain. If the machine is full of water, it wont let you open the door. Put the drain hose into a bucket to drain the water out and turn off the machine, after a few minutes, the door should unlock. Check the pump or the pump inlet hose for blockages.

Kenmore elite stackable wont spin and drain

You will need to replace the lid switch.
Here is a link to the part you need.

You should not need any special tools. Unscrew the panel above the lid, then use a screwdriver to pop out the two brass clips that hold the top down and take off the top. That should do it.

Water under stackable washer dryer

The front panel comes off and you will be able to trace the water source. These combo units spin immediatly and if the drain is slow the water will spin up over the edge of the tub during drain.

Our kenmore stackable washing machine on the rinse and wash cycle is not filling up with water. the water keeps running out

Make sure the drain hose is not pushed too far down the drain pipe. It could cause a siphon effect and drain the tub.

Make sure the drain hose is not tight in the drain pipe. It should fit loose so as not to trap the air which can also cause a siphon effect.

Stackable kenmore model 41794702300

We have had that happen too. You will need to take out what ever has blocked the valve on the drain. Ours was a bobby pin! My model is a bit different but if you follow the drain hose underneath you can find it. Remember you are dealing with lots of water. I think I scooped out the water first and have some towels ready. Or hire somebody to do it for you. I hope that helps.
