2005 Mustang wont start or crank from the key.. wont say nothing good battery ..... all I hear is clicking noise my radio and lights and everything comes on but it will not do nothing what couldthis be have I blown something?

you can pull the fuse out for power locks. you wont be able to use automatic locks at all but they will still work manually

is i lockingt after you start it... and does it relese when turn off

Hello I had a 97 that did the exact same thing.

Open the owners manual and there is a fuse under the dash you can pull that will stop the locks. If I rememeber correctly it was even marked inside the cover of the fuse box plate.

hi ya it seems one of the door switches is broken or disengaged on each door frame you will find a push in switch witch operates the interior light, door warning light on dash and remote locking if one of them is not working it will show on dash as a door not closed it will prevent the interior light from working and also stop the auto locking system from working properly the locking system is connected to the interior lights

check wiring at drivers door hinge inside protectve loom,should find broken wiring

The ignition security on/off is located at the trunk lock. unlock and lock rear gate and the alarm will turn off. My jeep sat in my drive for a month before a jeep tech told me this. It still triggers the security sometimes when I unlock the passenger door with the key and I go straight to the rear gate lock and it shuts off instantly.
