You can pull the fuse out for power locks. you wont be able to use automatic locks at all but they will still work manually

Testimonial: "Thanks. That is what I anticipated, but a very poor design feature that Hyundai should remedy!"

SOURCE: I have a 2000 accord. power door locks sometimes

Check your door actuator if it is a specific door that will not lock. Also change your keyfod battery and the key fod it self for wear. I had my door actuator replaced last weeak after checking the easy dstuff.

good luck.

SOURCE: Central locking

Without diagnosing this problem myself, the possible causes are MANY!
Best solution is take the vehicle into a Hyundai Dealership and have it diagnosed/troubleshot by a qualified technician.

Horn honks doors lock be self

does this help? look in owners manual for how to turn "on or off" the auto lock feature.

Automatic Door Lock/Unlock
The automatic door unlock function is a vehicle personalization feature with the following 3?programmable modes of operation:
1. All: All of the doors will automatically unlock. 2. Driver: The driver's door will automatically unlock. 3. None: The doors will need to be unlocked by a door switch command or by pressing the the lock button on the RKE transmitter. The All or Driver modes may also be programmed as to when the automatic door unlocking will occur.
1. Key Off: The door(s) will unlock when the key is turned off. 2. Shift to Park: The door(s) will unlock when the vehicle is shifted into P (Park). The delay lock function may be enabled or disabled. When the function has been disabled, the doors will only lock by a door switch command or by pressing the the lock button on the RKE transmitter. When enabled, the doors will not lock until five seconds after the last door is closed.

Hi, I have a 2007 Accord. When I shift into Drive, my buttons autolocks. How to I get them to UNlock when I shift into Park or shut the engine ?

Typically on autolock cars, when you pull the door handle to open it opens without having to unlock it. The auto lock is a safety feature. Some cars will auto-unlock when you stop, but most wont, you have to hit the unlock button. If yours doesn't auto unlock, the only way to change it would to be to install a switch somewhere on the shift mechanism, it would take a while to do.

Need to know how to adjust the door auto lock function.

Not an easy fix! The door lock function was designed to lock doors only. you can however, disable this lock feature by simply cutting the light blue automatic door lock signal wire on the 6-wire harness plug connector located on the chime module (In component center).
