Either its a bad green CRT or a driver issue to it. In any case not for the novice to fix.

SOURCE: Pioneer 65" TV Model # SD-643HD5 won't power up.

I would suggest replacing the board itself, chances are what caused those fuses to blow is still faulty. did you check those fuses again after you powered it back up?

Yes a simple cable will do it. Look for a converter designed to display a computer vga on an HDMI jack. I have one, and would expect it to work in reverse. My cable has a male VGA like a computer monitor cable.

Color Problem on SD-643HD5 (Green is not working)

I had a similar problem with my Green CRT. Fixed it by carefully touching up some solder connections.

1) Locate the Green CRT Driver Board mounted on the bottom of the Green CRT.
2) Locate the two large heatsinks on the driver board. Each has a transistor attached to it.
3) Carefully touchup the solder connections on each transistor. I added some additional solder to help reflow the solder onto the pad of the circuit board. It's a bit tricky because the solder has to fill a large gap between the small leads of the transistor and large holes in the circuit board.
