What is happening with the Sync? Does your PC and the Palm Desktop Manager recognize your TREO 600? If not, the issue may be that somehow the driver for your device was removed. I would suggest upgrading to the latest version of the Palm Desktop Manager and try plugging in your TREO 600 again and try synching.
You also have to make sure that the setting on the Palm Desktop Manager is the same as the type of cable you are using. If it is a USB cable, have that setting on your PC's Palm Desktop Manager Hotsync settings.

trouble with the Treo 650's software. There are several key stages to
performing a hard reset. Follow these steps to learn how to do it
HotSync the Treo 650 to your computer to ensure that you have
all of your information backed up. You will lose everything on your
Treo 650 with a hard reset.
and hold down the red phone key on the right side of the Treo 650
keyboard until the Palm screen appears. This will begin the hard reset.
Let go of the red phone button when you see the Palm screen.
the screen prompt carefully. It will ask you to press the up arrow key
to proceed with the hard reset or the down arrow key to abort. Press
the up arrow to continue with the hard reset.

hi, on the hotsync software (palm desktop) there normally is an option were you can decide what to sincronise and what not.
if you go to hotsync (on the top next to tools)and then choose personalise, then look for the calendar and click change, choose the one you think is correct.

Get an anti virus for palm os and run it, then reload the palm software.
another thing to try that worked on a different device is to rename the Back-up folder to Old-Back or some other name. Do a hotsync. This usually works.
Then open your old-back folder and install the programs and data to the handheld. Then do a final hot sync.

I was ready to give up completely. Uninstalled, reinstalled, nothing worked.
Here is what I did to resolve sync errors:
1. Perform a hard reset on the Palm
2. Go to the Palmone folder on your hard drive (C:\Program Files|PalmOne. Look for the Backup folder. Rename this folder Backup Old.
3. Connect the Treo to your computer.
4. Right click the Hotsync icon in the taskbar and click Custom.
Change the four Outlook conduits (Calendar, Contacts,Tasks,Memos) to Desktop overwrites Handheld.
5. Run a Hotsync with the Treo. It should sync without errors. If you need to install additional applications you can add them now.
This worked for me. I hope it helps with your errors.
I tried all the suggestions that were offered and gave up. But then out of pure craziness I loaded the treo 600 CD that came with my Treo 600 out of curiosity. It loaded and the MS Office 2003 conduits loaded nicely and the problem appears to be solved for now.
So I tested and it the Tungsten E Hotsync's feature all appear to be okay. I'm not sure if this is the best solution but it solved a very frustrating problem.
The version of Hotsync that loaded is 4.1.0.
