Hi When I try to get the Free 1st months sub to the Garmin safety cameras the above error code keeps being displayed. If I try to purchase a 12 month sub. it keeps sending me back to the begining. I run Windows XP Internet explorer 7 The Jarva is the latest version and I have a Zumo 550. I have tried the Garmin help and now their ideas have dryed up I even tried Fire Fox at their suggestion with no improvement Help Stewart
Hi i had this problem also but with different gps device to get the first month free you have to complete the patment for the 12 month plan and make payment this gives you full acess to the things your after.
Also have you fully installed the software that came with the device and are you using this software to acess the device as it wont let you upload anything onto it unless you are using correct version that came with it.
If doing this still dont let you do the things your after then i would take it back and exchange for another gps device as sometimes you get one that the data is corrupt thats on it.
Also have you tried uninstalling the software that came with it full off your comp then start again but this time dont plug the devcice in untill it has finished installing as this can cause problems also let me know how you get on ok
Do you remember what id number they asked for its uaully on the box the problem some people where having with this product is they keyed in the id number then it took while to register so went back and keyed it in again this caused problem as it looks like on their system that two people are using same id so then that id becomes invalid just in case the device was stolen have you contacted them and told them this.
Also try again logging into their site using your id again you could remove all the software that came with it and reinstall from scratch do this just incase their is a conflict with the programmes on your comp let me know ok
If you use mozilla firefox sometimes this allows the id to work as alot of errors with int exp acessung the info needed try using mozilla firefox and navigate through their site using this let me know and i will assist further

Thank you for your reply. I have tried to purchase the 12 sub. as well as trying to get the 1 month free trial. I have down loaded POI onto the Zumo with out any problem. From what I understand it appears that there is a problem with my computer talking to the host computer. Null ID I understand refers to their database and a entry number not being generated.
As with any computer software based device the first thing I did was to load the software and then immediatly look for updates on the web sight.
