1. Follow this link for the Dynex drivers: http://www.dynexproducts.com/products/computers/DX-CRMN1.html Although this page is for the Dynex 6-in-1 USB 2.0 Mini Memory Card Reader, it should work for your 5-in-1 Reader. Post back here if it doesn't.
2. Click on Windows or Mac under Drivers, Firmware and Software.
3. Download file.
4. Open driver installation package and install driver.
click download tab scroll all the way to the bottom of page for driver firmware. free site. I just downloaded and after about 1000 times trying from cd it worked. Good Luck
Not to be a wise guy, but did you have the memory card in it when you connected up? If so, take it out and clean the contacts with a soft cloth and at least 90% alcohol. Also, look inside the reader to make sure none of the 4 pins are bent or broken. If all this fails, try it on another usb port. Sometimes they get reassigned by software or something, and won't detect certain devices on certain ports, for unknown (to me) reasons. If all this fails, try the card reader on another computer (maybe you should try this first). If everything fails, I would deduce the card reader is bad, and get another one. Good luck.
