I can't get my photodumb D7260 to print. i have in the past but i have had nothing but trouble with it. i have completely given up on using the wireless option and use USB instead. i had it disconnected while i was renouvating and now it is as if it is not connected to my computer at all. any suggestions?

You need to replace the Black cartridge, as it appears the colour one is fine. Look in the printer options on your PC for a display of ink levels, and you'll probably find the black down to zero. If you've used generic cartridges, not genuine HP, you may find the printer can't actually read the ink levels.

This model printer does not have a duplex unit and therefore cannot print double sided printing automatically.
DOUBLE SIDED PRINTING USING A SINGLE SIDED PRINTER
If your printer does not have a duplex unit then the printercannot print double sided pages automatically.
You can print double sided pages but you have to do it one page at a time.
First print Page 1 then place the page back into the paper tray, but turn thepage upside down and the print Page 2.
Then print page 3 on one side then page 4 on the other side and repeat for therest of the document.
I suggest you try a test page first, to get the printing the right way up onboth sides of the page so it reads correctly.

usually when the ink in the ink in the cartridge is low this is the issue

I am having the same problem, printing photos I took of the moon thru my telescope. Any solutions?

1.Try placing sheet of Magenta print on copy board, and run many copies .  Run head clean after about each 50 sheets. 

your printer is working offline. try to change settings from control panel > printer and faxes..

double click printer icon.. inactivate printer > work offline..
