Answer the I am not a robot question and the file will download being
the zip file LM-156n-lg-winxp-sp2.ZIP
use http://www.7-zip.org/
zip7 to unzip it (download and install if you do not have an unzipping software already installed)
then point the driver have disk option for updating the modem driver / or adding the modem - to the folder you extract the drirer files to.
Not sure if you have a pci modem or a external modem
Not sure about the updating file that was exe was not game to run this might be dangerous (virus / spyware danger )

Located new Vista driver installed and worked, both driver and operator error.

You need 9V/1A supply (with +9V at center pin) for your model with beige case. Do not use 22V/1.5A supply for old 33.6k model with
gray case. The shapes of the cases are very similar (56k has fever
leds, no external volume control, and no connectors for external
telephone equipment and external speaker), but the power supply
voltages and currents are completely different.

I have purchase a U.S. Robotics 56K Fax Modem (USB) but when I installed in windows xp after modem driver installation some file could not setup properly then a message shown that continue anyway or cancel option. So that I need a fresh windows xp based U.S. Robotics 56K Fax Modem (USB) driver. My model no. is 5633. Please do something for us.
