I have a LG fltron wide screen monitor and I can't get the monitor to turn on I have tried changing the power cord and still the monitor doesn't turn on. It was working fine previously and I have kept it in good condition. Turning off after use and cleaning the screen but it has just stopped working anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem.

disconnect all the cables except the power cable and then turn the monitor on you would see a test screen if it still happens your monitor is faulty and better buy a new one as repairing is usually expensive .
It could be a faulty power cord. Try plugging it in and moving the cord around in the areas where it takes the most movement. Do the same with the data cable to see if you get a response there. If your cables are fine, the problem is most likely hardware in the monitor - in that case you're better off replacing the monitor.
Try wiggling the Cord on the backside of the monitor.. Not the Power Plug Cord, The Other Cord that attaches to the PC. Do this once the monitor turns off , grab ahold of the cord about 2 inches from the back of the monitor, then bend the cord to the right, keep bending from the right to the left a couple times to see if your screen comes back, if it does, than you have a Loose connection and this sometimes causes the Symptoms you are receiving.. Hope it helps.
This problem is showing when the main PCB of the monitor failed. contact the LG service provider in your area. They will change the full package assembly or PCB. check this link to get the service center info http://www.lgservice.com/
