Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Event Manager
Windows 10 in startup apps go to Administrative Tools / Event Manager
Right Click start menu click event Viewer
once there look to left and expand WIndows Logs Click on Applications and wait for them to load See my pictures i found an error then I clicked on it and it told me what app.
If you don't have event viewer turned on you won't get anything. Then just google turn on event viewer your OS = (winodws 10, Windows 8 etc. turn it on reboot once the error occurs it is recorded go to event viewer and see results.
ones the camera is connected open my computer, you should see your camera or the memory card as a removable drive. you should be able to download the pictures manually from there.
i think you will need to create a folder in my pictures then copy the files into this and then you should be able to see them ,failing which download VLC player as this great programme will also display difficult to open or funny files that media or fax viewer cannot or will not do without paying for a programme
In this case you would have to check the autorun settings in your finepix viewer sofware , there may be a setting which would indicate autorun or autostart for the finepix viewer desktop application , once you discover it , you would have to disable it, if not then please try uninstalling the finepix software and then reinstalling it so that it loads the default settings that was ok for you earlier.
Hope this helps ..:)

the windows picture viewer take the more load to access these pictures. you can try picasa picture viewer it take very less time to load. you can got it from the Google more products it is about 11.mb download it and install it.your problem remove out most probably.
It may be good to make sure that you have updated your computer operating system software. Usually you can get nice picture viewers and other software to edit pictures which are open source and free to use. Make sure you have the latest MS explorer installed for your operating system. Also check the amount of memory your computer has installed. With a minimum of memory, you may get this reaction. You should have over 1 gigabyte installed for graphics. If you are using the newer 64 bit Windows operating systems, you probably need more than 1 gigabyte of memory to make it work correctly.
>i found this only for PPS file not opening from windows mail but open fine once we save it , try this only for power point files
For .PPS files (Microsoft PowerPoint Slideshow)
If images cannot be downloaded from the camera to a Macintosh, check the status of the camera and the Macintosh and resolve the problem accordingly.
1) Check the status of the camera and Macintosh. 1. Connect your camera to the Macintosh and turn the camera on. 2. Open the "Applications" folder on the Macintosh HD. 3. Double-click "Image Capture". * If the "Imaging device not connected" message appears, follow the steps described in [Checking the connection between the camera and PC]. 4. Select "Preferences" from the "Image Capture" menu. 5. The procedure for using the Image Capture Preferences window differs depending on the OS version used. Use the correct procedure for your version of Mac OS. - Mac OS 10.4: Click "General" in the Image Capture Preferences window. - Mac OS 10.3: Click "Camera" in the Image Capture Preferences window. - Mac OS 10.2: Simply proceed to the next step. 6. In "Items launched at camera connection", select "FPVBridge" and then click the [OK] button. * If FPVBridge is not among the displayed items, follow the steps in [Displaying FPVBridge] below. 7. Quit "Image Capture".
If you implement the above procedure up to step 6, FinePix Viewer launches automatically. * To stop FinePix Viewer from launching automatically, follow the steps in [FinePix Viewer Setup] below.
2) Resolving the problem [Checking the connection between the camera and PC] 1. Plug the USB cable into the camera and Macintosh again. * If you are using a USB hub, do not connect the camera to the Macintosh via the hub.
[Displaying FPVBridge] 1. Select "Other". 2. Click the "Applications" folder. 3. Click the "FinePix Viewer" folder. 4. Select "FPVBridge" and click "Open". 5. Click [OK].
[FinePix Viewer Setup] 1. Launch FinePix Viewer. 2. Select "Automatic Save Settings" in the Settings menu. 3. Tick the "Auto save images when the camera is connected" checkbox in "Operation Settings When Camera Is Connected". 4. Click [OK] and close the "Automatic Save Settings" window. 5. Exit FinePix Viewer. 6. Turn the camera off and then on again to test whether FinePix Viewer launches automatically.
