Doesn't read my SanDisk memory card

Here's what you do;
go back to the store, smack the clerk upside the head for giving you bad advice, and trade the 4gb for a 2gb.. (or the razr for another phone). The V3m doesn't support SDHC cards; only SD ones. SD are 2gb and below, while the HC (high capacity) are 4gb and up.
Sucks, doesn't it..

Micro SD card

sharp, you have to format the SD through your phone and then copy the music to the folder provided by the phone for the music. make sure you check the playing / bitrate / file type of audio file that the phone is limited to play.

if you have other questions just lemme know

Large sd micro cards than originally intended?

soda monster, first of all wuz up man? the answer is yes, i had a razor v3i pretty much same thing to urs, and i installed a 2gb micro sd and it worked, and later i replaced it with a 4 gb card and it worked too. but sometimes when u have to many songs and pictures the phone will become slow and at times freezes ur phone too much, u will have to remove the battery and turn it back on, thats the only bad part , so a 2gb micro sd is recommended.

Memory card

I was having same problem with a 4 yr old digital camera. Apparently, it only recognizes up to 512 MB, and the card needs to be partitioned into 4 parts.

SD Card causing problems?

The V3m has an inherent flaw with the Sd Micro Memory Card. Installing the card, which fits extremely tight can damage the electrical contacts in the micro chip socket. This can result in low battery life due to a short to metal chassis of phone and not being able to communicate properly with memory chip. I had my first Razr V3m replaced by Sprint after only 2 days of ownership.When I got my new phone I carefully filed the tab on the Sd Micro Chip so insertion and extraction is much easier.
