My dynex keeps saying no signal ..the satellite box is working fine but tv seesm to not recieve the signal

If the problem is same with different input devices and you have ensured there are no loose contacts in power outlet, RC jack, cable and sockets, the TV needs servicing.

Does a dynex tv connected via vga to PC come up as a genaric monitor in windows display panel? Is this normal? or is there a way to make it identify it as a large screen tv for better resolution range?

If windows cannot identify the monitor that you have connected it will show up as a generic monitor. If you are able to find a driver for the monitor then windows will show that particular monitor instead. If Dynex has a website you can check there to see if they have a driver for your TV, or you can check under there support section to see if they suggest anything that might help.

Dynex 19Inch Vga no signal

You may need to set up the video card to see the TV so you can display the computer on it.Somewhere in the setting for your video card should be settings for that.

Vison flat 19" hooked to toshiba laptop w/Vista no signal

Can't say I really "fixed" the problem. I tried other monitors, DVI cord and took the laptop to a repair shop. Nothing worked. And then....boom.....it worked! No one knows why or how. No one did anything to the computer or monitor. It just works. Who knows how long it will work, but it works today.

19" starlogic monitor

If you are getting a "No Signal" message, someone may have inadvertantly pressed the wrong button on the monitor. Use up arrow of button #5 below to cycle through RGB (normal VGA connection) and DVI sources. Down arrow will result in "No Signal" message.

There are five buttons at the bottom of the screen on this monitor. From the left:
1 - sound volume
2 - degausser
3 - power on/off
4 - monitor set-up
5 - RGB/DVI source
