On a Daytek 46 in LCD TV, no AV Digital Cable Signal, but HDMI OK

I have a Daytek LCD TV. Nothing was messed with, but suddenly my AV1 signal says "No Sinal" on the screen. I use AV1 for digital cable box. I tried other AV inputs and nothing worked. Sound comes through, but it is choppy, When I connect the tv to my dvd through HDMI, it works fine. The same digital cable box works with my monitor via AV, so it is not a cable problem. I tried everything, including channel tuning and everything possible in MENU. Can this be fixed? I guess I can get a cable box with HDMI outlet?

Had the same problem.
Fixed by unplugging everything from the power source, leaving for 2 minutes then plugging back in.
Works fine now.

I would like help with setting up....I have the cable from the digital cable box going into the TV and still saying that is not receiving a signal

Without more details it's hard to answer this, but here goes...You should have a button on your remote that says "input" or "Source". Use your remote to check what the input is set to. Change the input and see if your signal comes in. There will be several choices. If you have a digital box it has an HDMI port, so does your TV. Normally the cable box HDMI goes into HDMI 1, or 2 on your TV. The cable just screwed into the cable inlet o the TV will be something like "AV" or "AV1" Ideally, you want to run one HDMI cable from the box to the TV. It carries sound, high def video etc; It's the only cable you need. let me know if any of this helps.

Power board signal

Hi Jim, I hope you have done the right in put "SOURCE" setting. Like AV, PC, HDMI etc. The source setting must match the signal you are feeding to your TV. If not the TV will show no signal. I hope there should be nothing wrong with your TV. Good Luck.

first run a yellow cable to tv (AV) if does work it maybe a setting in blu-ray or TV look for any settings in the TV and blu-ray menu that says HDMI communications or something like that and turn it off. try to connect HDMI cable again.

50" Vizio Plasma reads "No Signal" on all inputs?

Well, your TV is still under warranty. That's the good part.
The only thing I can recommend without voiding the warranty is leaving the TV unplugged for 30min. That way, the TV can reset itself and hopefully correct the problem.

If that doesn't solve the problem, it's time to use the VIZIO warranty.

HI i have a 42" Hitachi HDTV 1080p (LCD)

Most newer Digital TV's don't display Analog signal very well. Often worse then an Analog TV. This is normal to a degree. If your Wii has component  cables, try using that. As for cable, you might get a better signal with Digital Cable.
