SOURCE: My Kenwood KR-V5570 receiver powers

i had exact problem.
the bare wire speaker cables that connect via a clip connecor in back of the receiver are pushed too far in. something inside is shorting out with the speaker cables. solve this issue by either tightly twistng or soldering the wire ends ( then clip the ends about 1/4 inch long). watch out for the same issue of electrical shorts at the speaker end of the cables.

Kenwood KR-V999D no sound

Hi there, it sound like a faulty elco. I think in english you call it electronic capacitor. open up the receiver and scan for blown elco's. the have rounded tops most of the time when blown. Check capacity and change accordingly. It should fix it.

My kenwood kr-v7030 won't turn off anymore with remote or manually.

Either the remote battery are flat or the frequency settings have changed. You can check with the manual the type of frequency it uses to match the that of the Kenwood. Sometimes there are switches you can change to adjust the correct frequency. Others have a learning code set by the manufacturer and are usually in the operation manual. If you want to test whether the remote is transmitting the signal to the Kenwood or not, Please do this...

If you have a digital camera or smartphone camera, switch the camera on and look at the viewfinder or camera screen; for smartphone, in a moment, then point the remote to the camera lens and press the volume button, which keeps sending the signal to the to control the volume of Kenwood system. If you see the infrared light on the remote flashing, then the remote is fine.

Now, about the smartphone camera. Start the camera and switch it for video capture (filming) and then point the remote towards the camera lens, and likewise you should see the remote light when doing the same tests as you with the video camera. If the infrared light lights up when pressing on the volume, the remote is fine.
It could be Kenwood, which requires factory repairs, not by you.

How do I hook up my HD TV to the kenwood kr-v7080 so I can hear stereo TV ?

Maybe hook up the actual source of the TV audio (not necessarily the TV) directly to the Kenwood. Cable and SAT boxes have nice standard digital audio outputs. They're wasted on TV's which typically have sucko speakers. Lower-end analog audio is also available if you want to watch Cable/SAT throught the TV speakers.

Yesterday, I connected two speakers to my Kenwood KR-V7070 Receiver and it worked fine but today I can't hear anything coming out of the speakers. I may have pressed a wrong button on the remote. Also,...

Tell us some details about the speakers.

Familiarize yourself with the controls. Understand every indicator on the front. There may be a clue there. Turn the volume to a medium or low level before changing any settings or you may be in for a BIG (and costly) surprise when you find the one that was in the wrong position.
