Try cleaning the rubber paper feed rollers. If it fails to pick up the paper in a pre determined time it will show paper jam. The pick up tires must pick up paper when turning, if not the paper will not feed into the machine and it will show paper jam with no jammed paper.
It sounds like the paper sensor in the paper try is broken or jamed. Remove the paper tray and locate the paper sensor. Check if it is jamed in the up position or if it is broken.
Hello sir; First, check out the paper path have anything stuck inside, otherwise go to replace paper exit senser on the machine or paper entrace senser on the finisher ( depend where got paper jam).
first, if thare any paper is jamed in the paper tray, pull the paper stright out. take out the remaining paper. close the paper tray.
opne the front cover pull out the toner cartirdge, remove the jamed paper.
open the inner door (where the paper exit). make sure there is not paper jamed it.
close the front door. if any paper jamed inside of the machine, it should automatically eject it out.
Note: reset the printer by opening and closing the front door.
is the copier seeing the paper in the cassette, if yes then your pick up assy. connectors could be loose or your pick up assy s. are bad. try switching the assy first before replacing also check your connectors
