You have to change from extension 101. Once you are on extension 101 then you need to press program then 0. enter date backwards ie(081104) then day (1=mon 2=tues 3=wed 4=thur 5=fri ect.) then enter time ie(0300 for 3:00) then 0 for am or 1 for pm. so it would go like this
Press program then 0
Enter (example for Tues. Nov. 11,2008 3:00 pm) would be
081104 2 0300 1
then press store then program again and it's set.

Is there a Panasonic cordless kx-t7730

The chances are, if you have CID you don't have to worry....the first call after 3am will fix it. If not, programming from extension 101 and 000 will fix it.

Any industry standard cordless phone will work on a Panasonic system...are you plugging it into a system phone port with the sytem phone? If you are trying to make both work on the same port, you have to tell the system that. Program option 610 in a TA series or 600 in a TDA series will set a Paralleled phone so both can work.

If you don't know how to get into System programming, your installer or dealer should.

5. Programming
The Getting Started Guide gives clear instructions as to basic programming via a KX-T7730 system-phone. To enter the program mode with a KX-T7730 simply press the programme button followed by * # and your password. However, one of the interesting aspects of this system is the ability to use a PC to configure the system. Windows based software is supplied with the system. You simply load the software and connect to your PC via a USB port. The USB lead is not supplied with the system.
