Your Panasonic phone could be defective. It is not unusual for a two-line phone to fail switching from one line to the other. If you connect a regular phone to line 2, you probably will get dial tone.

If you are subscribed to Caller ID from your phone company, the unit's date and time setting will be automatically adjusted when caller information is received. If you do not wish for this feature to work, press [MENU][#][2][2][6] on the handset, then press [0] to select "Manual" and press [SAVE]

Sounds like headset mode is on. Depending on your system there is a code in programming to toggle that feature. It should be in the users guide

I have a KX-TG7644. Had to look harder for the Call Block directory. The manual really didn't help much. Press "Menu", go down to "Initial Settings", go to "Call Block". You can access the list and delete all or part to open up memory space. I had to do this after all the election calls.

Hi dear Lavon Bonar:
RE: Unblocking phone numbers on your Panasonic landline:
Dial *60 to access blocked numbers:
Your Selected Call Rejection Service is probably now ON;
To TURN OFF Call Rejection Service, dial 3.
OR
To REMOVE ALL blocked entries Dial 08*
That's it. Glenda Gammel 9/21/2017

KX-TGA402C is the included handset for a Panasonic cordless phone system like the KX-TG4011C. You should be able to adjust the ringer volume from the Initial Settings menu. With the phone system in standby, press Menu on one handset. Use the Up/Down arrows to locate the Initial Settings. Press OK. Then select Ringer settings and press OK. Select Ringer Volume and press OK. Use the Up/Down arrows to set the desired Ringer volume and press OK to save. Press Exit to leave the menu system. Alternatively, you can adjust the ringer volume by pressing the Volume Up/Down buttons while the phone is ringing.

The manual for the KX-TG4011 is available from Panasonic here: ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/telephone/om/kx-tg4011_mul_om.pdf . If the above steps aren't working, check that your handset and phone base are properly paired (registered handset). Also check that the base has power and connected to a working phone line. Also make sure that the handset is fully charged.

I hope this helps.
