does your phone have the unresponsive touch screen? if it occurs, try this. Take your fingernail and run it along the screen and the plastic housing. Push hard as you do it, and it will free up the screen. This has happened to me as well. and my phone's working now. this was a solution given by mephisto250 on youtube. :)
if its been water damaged or anything like that to where the screen is even cracked or scratched touch phones are very sensitive and yes it might need to be replaced.
Hi Jordan, The problem of your phone is the inner touch pad of your screen, probably there is no more contact between the inner touch pad and the outer touch screen of your phone, Perhaps the inner touch pad is bad and needs replacement. This is a good solution; The samsung delve is a very fragile and sensitive phone that needs adequate expertise,so i'll suggest you consult the nearest mobile phone engineer to help you fix it.
Hm, this is a difficult one. I have a F700 and there is no option for it to auto lock on slide closure. U might have a different firmware so look around the settings for it. Disable it if you can find it.
This might also sound stupid but make sure the lock key on the right hand side has been slid up. Slid down locks touchscreen.
My f700 does NOT launch the camera upon pressing the camera button at home screen. It does nothing if i do that. I need to goto into the menu and then the camera for the camera button to work and to take pictures. I think this was a smart move for Samsung to design it like this. I could see myself accidently pressing that many times.
I have the same problem, and have sent mine back for them to repair it, as the screen is cracked, and also it selects things i dont touch.
They said they would charge £40 for repairing the screen and wouldnt exchange it as they said there is nothing wrong with the phone, and have had none others returned with the same fault.
and, froim what i can make out with phone sites, they do not even offer teh samsung F700 anymore, so there must be something wrong with the model.
Really?? Mine is loud as hell I heard it ringing in my coat across the room
I think there is a way to change the volume but the button on mine doesn't seem to respond to touch When you first turn on ur screen there should be a lil bell in the top left corner Ive gotten it to work once It turned my phone silent but other than that it doesnt respond Ive tried using it while the keyboard was out to get it to switch sides but still no good You can try playing with that otherwise we'll all just have to make that long trip to profiles just to turn our phone volume up and down
